SPOILER ALERT!!!

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!Hey guys. I have to warn you, this is a short resume of the book Eragon. Stay tuned for my review, and check it out on Facebook: 0Alex's Reviews

While hunting in the mountains of Crete, Eragon, a young peasant fifteen years, was surprised to see it fall a few feet away, a blue stone and smooth. He refers to the farm where he lives with his uncle Garrow and his cousin Roran, near the small village of Carvahall. Garrow and his wife, Marian - now deceased - raised the boy. We know nothing of his father and his mother, Selena, Garrow's sister, has not given any sign of life since the birth of the child.

A little later, the stone is broken, and a baby dragon emerges. Lorsqu'Eragon touch, a silvery mark appears on his palm, and an irrevocable bond develops between their two minds, making the teenager one of the legendary Dragon Riders. Remembering a dragon mentioned by Brom, the storyteller of the village, he appoints his Saphira.

Millennia old, the caste of Dragon Riders was created at the end of the devastating war between elves and dragons, to avoid renewed conflict. The Dragon Riders became the guarantors of peace, educators, healers, alchemists, and the most powerful magicians through the link that bound them to their dragon. Under their authority and protection, the country experienced a golden age.

When humans arrived in Alagaësia my, some of them joined this elite order. After many years of peace, the Urgals, warlike people, killed the dragon of a young Dragonlord human the poor, called Galbatorix, went mad. The former refused to provide him a new dragon, he resolved to destroy the caste of Dragon Riders.

He flew a dragon, he called Shruikan, submitted it to his will by black magic, then he gathered around him a group of thirteen traitors, perjurers. With the help of those cruel disciples, Galbatorix destroyed the Dragon Riders, killed their leader, Vrael, and proclaimed himself king of Alagaësia. His conduct led the elves to withdraw at the heart of their pine forests, and dwarves hiding in caves and tunnels. None of the two races could not be more out of his hiding secret. The status quo between Galbatorix and other peoples lasted more than a century, during which all perjurers died. It is in this climate of political unrest Eragon will precipitate.

Several months after the outbreak of Saphira, two strangers-like beetles threatening giants, Ra'zacs, come to Carvahall looking for the blue stone, the lost dragon egg. eragon and his young strap manage to escape, they return to find that odious creatures razed farm Garrow and tortured to death.

Eragon vows to track Ra'zacs then and kill them to avenge his uncle. While he leaves Carvahall, Brom, the storyteller in the village who is aware of Saphira, offers to accompany him. He gives her a sword Drago red Zar'oc, but refused to tell him where he stands.

During their journey, Brom teaches Eragon, the art of fighting with sword and the practice of magic. Having lost track of Ra'zacs, they go to the port city of Teirm, home Jeod, an old friend of Brom might help. There they learn that the lair is Ra'zacs near Dras-Leona, the herbalist Angela, Jeod neighbor, said good adventure Eragon, and his companion, the cat werewolf Solembum gives two strange advice the boy.

On the way to Dras-Leona, Brom finally reveal that he is an agent of the Varden, a rebellious people determined to overthrow Galbatorix, and he was hiding in Carvahall arise until a new Dragon Rider. Twenty years earlier, with Jeod he stole Saphira's egg in Galbatorix and Morzan killed first and last of perjury. There are more than two dragon eggs still in the possession of Galbatorix.

Near Dras-Leonas the Ra'zacs occur. Wanting to protect Eragon, Brom is mortally wounded. A mysterious young man named Murtagh put in the Ra'zacs leaks. The next night, before dying, Brom says he was Drago e its called dragon Saphira too.

Eragon and Saphira then resolve to join the Varden. Gil'head captured the boy is brought before Durza, a powerful and malevolent shadow to serve Galbatorix. With the help of Murtagh, he escaped from prison, taking with him another captive, the elf Arya, Ambassador of the Varden. Under the effect of poison administered to him Durza, unconscious, in a state that requires urgent care.

Pursued by a horde of Urgals, Eragon, Saphira and their two companions strive to earn the headquarters of the Varden in the mountains of Beors, rising to nine thousand yards. Murtagh wants to make the trip, but not go to the Varden, he is forced to reveal that there will be unpopular because he is the son of Morzan. However, he denied his traitor father and left the court Galbatorix to forge his own destiny. Eragon learns that occasion Zar'oc was once the sword of Morzan Oathbreaker.

About to be overwhelmed by an attack of Urgals, Eragon and his friends are rescued by the Varden, which seem straight out of the rock! It turns out that the rebels are based in Farthen Dûr, mud crater at the center of a high mountain which houses Tronjheim, the capital of the dwarves. There, Eragon is led to Ajihad, leader of the Varden and Murtagh, thrown into prison because of his ancestry.

eragon meets the king of the dwarves, Hrothgar, and the daughter of Ajihad, Nasuada and is tested by the Twins, two bald magicians and unfriendly service at Ajihad. Thinking that the Varden heal Arya, Eragon and Saphira bless a child orphaned at the request of the crowd.

We learn an army of Urgals approach via the tunnels by the dwarves in the mountains. During the ensuing battle, Eragon is separated from Saphira and faces Durza alone. More powerful than any human, Shadow has easily because of the boy and opens the back of the shoulder to the hip of a sword. At the same time, Saphira and Arya break the ceiling of the hall, a star sapphire sixty feet wide. This diversion allows Eragon to knock his opponent to the heart. The Urgals, freed from the Shadow spells that kept under its influence, are repelled.

After the battle, while Eragon lies unconscious, he is mentally contacted by a mysterious being who comes in the name of Togira Ikonoka the Crippled Unchanged. He urged the boy to come to Ellesméra follow his teaching, the city of the elves.

When he returned to him, Eragon discovers an impressive scar across his back. To his great disappointment, he also understands that shot Durza a fluke and that is sorely lacking in formal training.

At the end of the first book, he decides that, yes, he will find Togira Ikonoka to Ellesméra for it to instruct.

Ainé???

Hey guys. This week, I will be reading Ainé, by Christopher Paolini. Now, this book is Eldest, but in french. If any of you want me to read it in English  make sure to tell me! If you want me to read any other book in french, make sure to tell me that also. I read french and English  but all my reviews are in English. I was actually thinking of making them both, so separate posts. How bout it?

Schedules

Hey all! I have been rushing all around the house today, I took the day off purposely to organize all my stuff, get a solid routine down, and of course, finish some homework. I also made a schedule for my books. So now I have due dates on reading my books, writing my short stories, and now my fan fiction! None of the dirty stuff, just to continue the story the way I want. The first I am starting with is Eragon by Christopher Paolini, but not just the book itself, the series. I think that he should continue it, and rumour is that he will, but in the meantime, I will be making it my own story. Here is the page for fan fiction:

Late

Hey guys. It's 11:30pm right now, and I am not tired at all. Has this ever happened to you before? I am honestly baffled, because my whole family is sound asleep and I am typing away on my computer! Right now, I am making daily routines, to get used to my exercise routine, which I am starting on Monday, because I recently learned that if you sit on the couch for an hour watching TV, you lose 22 minutes of your life? It also applies for reading, since you are sitting around doing nothing with your body. I am going to imply it in my schedule, and during the summer, I will get a bike, to ride from school to Chapters to the coffee shop. :) Anyway, tell me if you have trouble sleeping sometimes, and if you think you should exercise more.

Monday!

OK guys, I am the by far laziest person on the face of the earth. I was supposed to hang up all my clothes in my closet, but managed to hang my shirts, throw my jeans on the bottom of my closet and any other thing put in my drawer. Anyway, I am still not done my Eragon book, cause this weekend was all about relaxing with the dog. Shame on me!!! But I promise that the review will be up this week, and also on my Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/AlexsReviews101

I have also taken up writing little stories, because I found out that if you write a short story that isn't exactly novel-like, you can work with it, and voilà! Novel done. Pictures to come guys! :)

Good dog!

Happy Halloween!

So I celebrate Halloween, but not with slutty costumes, dance parties or trick or treating. Usually, I do trick or treat, but this year, no costume, so no candy. But one thing I do is listen. This is the celebration of the dead, not an excuse to show of your boobs. I personally like halloween to pay my respects to the dead. What do you do on Halloween?

My daily routine

Hey guys. So my daily routine is all about fitting in time for my reading. My routine only really starts when I get home, cause my morning is taken for getting ready. As soon as I get home, I do homework if I have some, then read 100 pages of my book. Then I usually copy book quotes, or update my pages. Then, when I go to bed, I read some more! I love reading!
